Across the Trust Year 6 have been working hard all year on their Global Enterprise Challenge projects. Back in September, the children formed groups and started to plan out the different products they would make and sell. They conducted market research to see if their products would be popular and how much they would be able to charge. After a grilling time in the Dragon's Den, each group secured funding and started the promotion, making and selling stages.

Now in the summer term, the competition is heating up as the children enter the final stages of the challenge. The children are busy sewing, baking and blending as they compete to gain the most money and win the prize in their schools.

At Yeo Valley, the Maker Bakers are in high demand – selling out every week! Whilst Smooth Moves are hot on their heels with their frozen smoothies. Can the Maskateers, Kraft Kiddos and Foodrings catch up and win the competition?

At Broadclyst, the cookie company, Monster, got off to a flying start in their first sale last week – selling out overnight! They have been knocked off the sales top spot by Tie Dye Clothing Company, Atlas, who made over £200 at their first sale! Minerva Keyrings and Shield Phone Cases have begun to 3D print their personalised, pre-ordered products and will be chasing the leaders.  Gryffinbakes have been selling like hotcakes and their Harry Potter themed sorting challenge is going very well. The environmentally conscientious stationary company, Flourish and Thrive, will be donating 10% of their profit to environmental and wildlife protection charities. The Jewellery company, Fireflies: BlueBirds Recycled Products and Avocado, the Home Comfort company are all busily making exceptional products to sell this week!
