Our on-site 60-place school-based Nursery provides excellent care and education for children aged from two years, led by experiened teachers, for 48 weeks of the year.
MCPS Nursery is led by teacher Rachel Hitchens-Orr, who works very closely with our Early Years Phase Leader, Tonia Dudley. Amy also works alongside our Deputy Phase Lead, Laura Mercy and our two Reception class teachers, Jemma Raby and Katie Shutt, forming our very successful Foundation Stage teaching team.
“To know that your child is being looked after within such a supportive, caring setting is wonderful and allows me to concentrate on my working day. Thanks.”
“My mind is at ease when my child is in their care.”
“Always a wide range of activities on offer for my daughter and lots to engage her interest and develop her skills - brilliant!”
MCPS is an inclusive and innovative school and we endeavour to create an environment which will foster a love of learning and offers opportunities for children to work both collaboratively and independently to meet their full potential. Our Nursery provides a wide range of opportunities and experiences to encourage our youngest children to develop their natural curiosity and thinking skills while having fun, indoors and outside:
You can be assured that your child will develop the foundations upon which they will continue to build throughout their school career and beyond acquiring independence and confidence in their learning as well as making friendships that will carry through to their primary school years.
You can access the Nursery admissions policy for current in-year admissions and the Nursery application form via the Trust website.
